Pokémon Concierge, the upcoming Japanese stop-motion animated television series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on December 28, 2023. The series is developed under the Pokémon media franchise of ‘The Pokémon Company’.
Pokémon Concierge is written by Doki Harumi. Ogawa Iku has directed the series.
The official trailer for the series was released by Netflix on their YouTube channel on November 15, 2023. You can watch the trailer here.
Premise: The series is set at a resort for Pokémon on a southern Island. The series follows the story and adventures of Haru, a new concierge. The journey will show Haru gradually discovering herself as she scrambles to attend to the various Pokémon guests along with her fellow staff members.
Cast: Rena Nōnen voices the main protagonist Haru. The Japanese and English voice cast features the voices of Non, Fairouz Ai, Eita Okuno, Yoshiko Takemura, Imani Hakim, Josh Keaton, and Lori Alan in major roles.
The series was first announced in February 2023 during the Pokémon Day presentation. The making of a stop-motion animated television series was announced during the event.
The series is a result of a collaboration between ‘The Pokémon Company’ and ‘dwarf studios.
