Popular HBO TV series, Succession bagged 27 nominations at Emmy 2023
The famous American satirical comedy-drama television series, Succession, bagged 27 nominations at this year’s Emmys. The popular TV series aired on HBO from June 3, 2018, up till May 28, 2023.
The nominations for Emmy 2023 are now out and it has come to light that Succession has 27 nominations in their bag. The nominations fall under the drama category. Some of the categories in which the series has received nominations are Best Drama Series; Lead Actor in a drama series – Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin; Lead Actress in a Drama Series – Sarah Snook; four nominations for best supporting nominations in other categories.
The series was created by Jesse Armstrong. Some of the featuring actors of the popular TV series across its four seasons are as follows: Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, Peter Friedman, Natalie Gold, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Sarah Snook, Jeremy Strong, Rob Yang, Dagmara Dominczyk, Arian Moayed, J. Smith – Cameron, Justine Lupe, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Alexander Skarsgard among many others.
Previously, the series received several awards and nominations. This includes the British Academy Television Award for Best International Programme, Winner of the Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Drama, two times, and the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series in 2020 and 2022.
