The upcoming action anime series, ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off’ is scheduled to release on Netflix on 17 November 2023. The series is now listed on Netflix’s ‘New Upcoming’ section, with a ‘Remind Me’ button, which you can activate to be notified when the series starts streaming on the platform. The series is directed by Abel Gongora and written by Bryan Lee O’Malley and Ben David Grabinski, who has also developed the series.
The series is based on the graphic novel Scott Pilgrim, written and drawn by O’Malley. The novel was adapted into a film in 2010 titled, ‘Scott Pilgrim vs, the World’.

Premise: The series revolves around Scott Pilgrim, a 20-something Toronto indie-rocker who is navigating through pre-adult life as his jobs keep coming and going. He soon meets Ramona Flowers, the girl of his dreams, and gets a crush on her. However, to fulfill his pursuit of dating Ramona, he has to defeat her seven evil exes. The complications keep on arising instead of fate paving an easy way for him.
Cast: The series features the voices of Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth, Winstead, Satya Bhabha, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Alison Pill, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Simmons, Mark Webber, Mae Whitman and Ellen Wong in major roles.
