T-Series shares global first day box office report of Adipurush, here’s how netizens reacted
Adipurush hit the screens of theatres yesterday. 16 June 2023, globally. On the first day, Adipurush bagged a total of Rs 140 crore at the Global Box Office.
Prior to its release, we informed you that Adipurush saw a total sale of 4,79,811 advanced booking tickets for the first week. This included the total of PVR and INOX tickets for the first week.
T-Series, who produced the film along with Retrophiles, took to Twitter and appreciated the response from the audience. T-Series tweeted, “Humbled with your love”.

The post comes in at a time when Adipurush has been highly criticized for its production. From the film’s production design to VFX to dialogues, the internet is flooded with trolls and criticisms of the film.
The audience has been questioning the directorial sense of Om Raut. The film’s character depiction received hugged backlash.

Some stated that people are watching just to be aware of how bad the film is. Another used questioned T-Series’ caption and commented, “Love?”.
A user posted a meme that stated that the film’s box office record is comparatively more fictional than the story.
