FC Kohli, who is considered the Father figure of the Indian IT industry, is no more. Kohli died at 96 years old.

He was the previous leader of the Computer Society of India and was the administrator of the Southeast Asia Regional Computer Conference held at Singapore in 1976 and director of the zenith panel of the Southeast Asia Regional Computer Conference held at New Delhi in 1988.He was likewise leader of the Management Consultants Association of India for the year 1975–76. For 1975–77, he was the executive of the Institutions of Electrical Engineers Bombay. In 1989, he was delegated guide toward the South east Asia Regional Computer Confederation.
