How to keep your iPhone battery running longer?

One has been experimenting for the last year. They have been charging his iPhone in what I think is the safest way to optimize battery life.

He is a heavy fan of the iPhone. It barely leaves my hand, and almost every day, I put hours of use on it.

A few years ago, he wrote about how I used my iPhone 8 Plus battery in less than 18 months.

He ordered the “Plus” and “Pro Max” iPhones to have a larger battery and a better battery life.

In just a matter of days, this iPhone 11 Pro Max will be a year old. And it’s had a rather tough life. It had bumps and scrapes, and it was everywhere from the air-conditioned buildings to the United Kingdom’s muddy wilderness.

But, differently, he has been charging it.

How’s the battery going after almost a year until he gets to that?

Not bad for a battery that’s more than halfway through 500 recharge cycles.

He is pleased about that.

And note, he’s a big user. I’ve previously predicted that it could take more than three years for a more popular consumer to reach the 500 recharge time mark.

How is he going to charge my iPhone?

Overnight charging: First, it gets a full charge overnight, using the cable and the stock of the Apple battery. No wireless charging, no fast charging.

Optimized Battery Charging: Maintaining charging time regularly ensures that I get the advantage of the iOS Optimized Battery Charging functionality.

If he needs a recharge throughout the day, one can’t recharge more than 60 percent.
If I don’t use my iPhone for a couple of days (I did a few days of “tech detox”), I make sure the battery is around 50 percent charged.
I assume this has given me the best possible battery life with little or nothing in the way of compromise.
