A renowned Samsung tipster a few weeks ago said that Samsung has been working on a Wear OS-powered smartwatch and will be ditching Tizen OS. There is some strong evidence to this tipster’s intel.

An XDA developer, In a Galaxy S20 kernel source code teardown, found that there’s a device in codenamed “Merlot” and it’s said to be associated with Google’s Wear OS. The device has been mentioned even alongside the already released Galaxy Watch3 with a code name “Noblesse”.
