Megastar Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe shoot delayed as Director begins shooting with Suriya

The shoot of the upcoming Tamil film Annaatthe has been postponed by a few months owing to actor Rajinikanth’s weak health condition. He was also hospitalized for a few days last month due to fluctuating blood pressure which according to sources forced the movie director Siva to begin the pre-production for his next yet-untitled project with Suriya.

This is the first time Suriya and Siva are coming together for a project which will be funded by Sun Pictures.

Originally, the yet-untitled project with Suriya was only supposed to begin after the release of Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe.

Annaatthe’s shoot will resume after the Tamil Nadu General Elections in June-July.
