BJP Leader Kailash Vijayvargiya said he will employ agniveers as security officers in BJP office
BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has also been embroiled in controversies amid the ongoing protests in the country regarding the Agnipath scheme. Actually, a video of him is going viral on social media in which he is seen saying that if he has to keep security in the BJP office, then he will give priority to the firefighters. Actually, BJP leaders in Indore were trying to explain the special things of the Agnipath scheme. During this, he gave this statement.
On this statement of Kailash Vijayvargiya, BJP MP from Pilibhit Varun Gandhi and Congress have surrounded him. On social media itself, the Congress replied, ‘All doubts about Agnipath cleared – Kailash Vijayvargiya of BJP. This Satyagraha is against this mentality.
At the same time, while sharing the video on Twitter, Varun Gandhi has taken a jibe at the leader of his party. He said, ‘Whose great army whose heroic tales are unable to tell the whole dictionary, whose stature of valour is resonant in the whole world, an invitation to that Indian soldier to do ‘Chowkidari’ of any political office, congratulations to the one who gave it. Indian Army is a medium of service to Mother Bharati, not just a ‘job’.
On the statement of Kailash Vijay Vargiya, Asaduddin Owaisi also tweeted and said that BJP leaders are talking about keeping soldiers in their offices as watchmen. This is the respect Modi’s party gives to soldiers doing a respectable job? Owaisi further said, ‘Sad that there is such a party in the government. Our forces have never been involved in politics like Pakistan. This is the strength of our democracy. But by doing this instead of solving the problem of the youth, BJP is playing a dangerous game. We have seen the bad effect of the decisions taken without any plan like demonetisation and lockdown in the economy and society. Is this what the Prime Minister’s Office now wants to do for national security as well?
Although the controversy erupted, BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya did not take too long to clarify. He said on Twitter, ‘Agniveer who came out of Agnipath scheme will definitely be trained and committed to duty, his excellence will be used in whatever field he goes after completing his service in the army. That is clearly what I meant. After this, in another tweet, he referred to the ‘toolkit’ and said that his statement is being distorted.
Kailash Vijayvargiya said, ‘People associated with Toolkit are trying to insult the workers by distorting my statement. This would be an insult to the workers of the country. The nation is well aware of the conspiracies of this toolkit gang against the national heroes-religionists.
