Booster doses for Healthcare and frontline workers from January 10
In a talk to the nation tonight, the Prime Minister declared that booster doses will be commenced for healthcare and front-line staffs from January 10.
Prime minister called it as ‘Precaution dose’ in the place of Booster dose.
Illustrating worldwide understanding that obeying all preventive care at the particular level is a great weapon to combat Covid. PM Modi pleaded nation to stay alert and obey all precautionary measures.
Talking about the country’s practice to onslaught the circumstance, the Prime Minister explained that India has 18 lakh isolation beds, 5 lakh oxygen aided beds, 1.40 lakh ICU beds, 90,000 pediatric ICU and non-ICU beds. We have additional 3,000 working PSA oxygen plants, 4 lakh oxygen cylinders that have been distributed throughout the country.
The Prime Minister also declared that 90% of the eligible community in the nation has been immunized with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 60% have obtained both doses of the vaccine.
Taking a Precaution dose will give more immunity and strength to the body and also help in battling against Covid new variant with taking all necessary precautions.
