Christian boy named Chandru stabbed to death for ‘not speaking Urdu’
Chandru, a 22-year-old youth, was brutally stabbed to death by three other youths, allegedly for not speaking Urdu. The incident occurred on Monday in the JJ Nagar police station limits of Bengaluru.
According to reports, the deceased, identified as Chandru, a Jaimaruthinagar resident, had gone to a party with his friends on Monday. He went out for a snack around 2:30 a.m.
His bike collided with another bike as he passed through Haleguddadahalli. Shahid Pasha, the bike rider, got into an argument with Chandru. When the accused attacked Chandru with a knife, the arguments turned ugly.

Shahid Pasha was joined by a few other accomplices, according to the Kasturi News report. After Chandru spoke to them in Kannada rather than Urdu, the mob thrashed and stabbed him. The critically injured Chandru was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
The incident was captured on CCTV, and it showed Chandru being brutally stabbed by the accused Shahid Pasha and his friends’ wielding swords and knives. Chandru was seen in critical condition and pleading with the accused to let him go.
Shahid Pasha, 21, Shahid Goli, 22, and a juvenile have now been arrested for stabbing Chandru to death. The accused were apprehended based on CCTV footage and local intelligence gathered at the crime scene.
According to Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant, Shahid stabbed Chandru on the right thigh and the assailants fled the scene. According to the police commissioner, Chandru belonged to the Christian community and had gone to a restaurant on Mysore Road with his friend SimonRaj.
