On Wednesday, Russian president Vladimir Putin announces a ‘special military operation’ against Ukraine. It broke into Ukrainian borders, as three pronged infiltration from North, South, and East borders of Ukraine.

UNSC, United Nations Security Council expected India to shed it’s silence on the matter of Ukraine crisis and condemn Russian aggression outrightly. Further, India votes to abstain from condemning Russia’s aggression. However, in explanation it elaborates that it is an outright infringement of international laws and sovereignty of a nation. Further, it expects return to diplomatic measures as a resolution of the crux.
Many Indian diplomats are of opinion that India’s position of abstinence in UNSC will act as a problem in a successful evacuation of Indians as countries might refrain from helping India.
Amidst all of this, as on 26th February India plans to evacuate stranded Indians in the war zone country through neighbouring countries.
