Land of Taj Mahal originally belonged to Royal Family of Jaipur
The member of Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) parliament from Rajasthan’s Rajsamand Diya Kumari professed that the Land of Taj Mahal originally belongs to the erstwhile Royal Family from Jaipur.
Taj Mahal which is considered as one of seven wonders, is situated in Agra, India. Emperor Shah Jahan who was the one behind bringing this beautiful structure alive for his wife as a gift and now it is considered as a symbol of Love. We all are aware about the beautiful story of how Taj Mahal was made and for whom it was made for. It is considered as a heritage of India and many tourists come to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal.
But Diya Kumaris statement came in view when the petition was filed by Rajneesh Singh, BJP media in-charge of Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya district, on May 4 in Allahabad High Court which gave orders to Archeological Survey of India (ASI) to open 20 rooms in Taj Mahal for investigating whether there is any presence of Hindu Idols when Rajneesh Singh said, “Around 20 rooms in the Taj Mahal are locked and no one is allowed to enter. It is believed that in these rooms, there are idols of Hindu gods and scriptures,”
Diya Kumari who is a member of erstwhile Royal Family of Jaipur committed to give her full support while the investigation is on. She also claimed that she has full documents ready which shows that the land of Taj Mahal belongs to the Jaipur family which Shah Jahan gained it.
Later, Diya gave the statement that, “I am not saying that the land is ours. I am not aware what the circumstances were then, but if the court asks us to provide anything or any documents available with us, we will provide from Pothikhana (record room at the palace),”while the case is in the court.
We all know that in ancient times there was no judiciary, no government was present at that time, so now things will be crystal clear only when the records will be examined.
People should know why the rooms are locked there. Many rooms are sealed there and it should be probed what is there behind the doors, says the BJP member Diya Kumari.
