Petrol Diesel is trending on Twitter, with some hilarious jokes

On Tuesday, the OMCs held their gasoline and diesel rates steady for the sixteenth day in a row. Since Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a drop in excise duty on petrol by 8 rupees per litre and diesel by 6 rupees per litre earlier in May, prices have stayed stable.
In Delhi, the price of petrol is Rs 96.72 a litre, while the price of diesel is Rs 89.62. According to data on the Indian Oil Corporation’s website, petrol costs Rs 111.35 in Mumbai, while diesel costs Rs 97.28. On the other side, after the tax drop, the petrol price in Kolkata today was Rs 106.03 per litre, while diesel rates were Rs 92.76 per litre.

Petrol was selling for Rs 102.63 a litre in other parts of the country, while diesel was selling for Rs 94.24 per litre.
