Quad Members are not happy with India hosting Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in India on Thursday for a two-day visit, his first since Moscow launched its invasion of Ukraine last month.
Lavrov will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister S Jaishankar on Friday, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.
The Russian foreign minister and the prime minister did not meet, according to a media advisory given by the Ministry of External Affairs on Lavrov’s visit.

After a two-day visit to China, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in India.
His trip to India coincides with those of US Deputy National Security Advisor Daleep Singh and British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi paid a visit to India last week. Gabriele Visentin, the EU’s Special Envoy for the Indo-Pacific, was in New Delhi this week.
However, this is not liked by the Quad members USA and Australia.
