Six suspects detained in Dehradun for Sidhu Moose wala Murder case
In a combined search in Dehradun on Monday, the Uttarakhand and Punjab Police nabbed six alleged suspects in the killing of renowned musician Sidhu Moose Wala. The suspects are now being held by the Uttarakhand Special Task Force.
The STF has apprehended two vehicles, and it’s possible that gangsters from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang are inside.
“One individual has been detained for questioning by a joint team of Uttarakhand STF and Punjab police. The case will almost certainly result in an arrest “According to a police source.
The assassination of Moose Wala
Moosewala, 29, was shot dead by gangsters outside his home town in Mansa in broad daylight on Sunday, less than 24 hours after the government restricted his security.
He was driving a Mahindra Thar SUV when the perpetrators, estimated to number in the tens of thousands, shot more than 20 rounds at point-blank range at the musician and two pals, injuring them severely.
Goldy Brar, a criminal from Canada, and Lawrence Bishnoi have been charged with the murder.
The assassination has prompted widespread political outrage, with the Punjab government bearing the brunt of it.
In this case, the Punjab police are not leaving any stone unattended.
