Subramaniam Swamy asks S. Jaishankar to be answerable to citizens about importing crude oil from Russia
Subramanian Swamy is an Indian politician, economist, and statistician, who serves as a nominated Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. Before joining politics, he was a professor of Mathematical Economics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Subramaniam Swamy tweeted and asked the ministry of external affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar at what rate the import of crude oil from Russia by India is. At first, Jaishankar told it was 1% but in June, it is 25 %.
Minister for External Affairs Mr Jaishankar should answer whether or not import of crude oil from Russia by India is no more just 1% as he had said but as per June this year it is 25%.

Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is an Indian diplomat who is serving as the Minister of External Affairs of the Government of India since 30 May 2019. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha since 5 July 2019, representing Gujarat.

If we get cheep oil from russia then why not we purchase more oil from russia, please give single resion why not purchase
