Subramanian Swamy remembers Rajiv Gandhi today as he tweets,’LTTE this day in 1991 killed Rajiv Gandhi, a leader who was a dynamic PM.
I arrived in Chennai on January 29, 1991 to supervise as Cabinet Minister for Law & Justice, the dismissal of the DMK Govt.
The LTTE all disappeared!! I searched for them. Nowhere! In city sewer!! No Puli but Eli’.
Swamy is a president of the Virat Hindustan Sangam, the member of BJP and the cabinet minister.
Today, on the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, he expressed his feeling, how the leader was killed.
Assassination :
Rajiv Gandhi who was the Prime Minister of our country and also the president of Congress party till 1991 was killed on May 21, 2022.
The murder of Rajiv Gandhi was a disastrous result of suicide bombings, took place in Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu, India.
Along with PM Rajiv Gandhi, other 14 people killed in that assassination.
This whole assassination was planned by a member of the Sri Lankan Tamil separatist organization Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) ‘Thenmozhi Rajaratnam.’
Today, Subramanian Swamy expressed his anger and said that he searched for LTTE but couldn’t find anyone.
I searched for them but no one was there, he added.
He also searched for them in the city sewer but could not find anyone.
