Pakistani Students in Ukraine praises Indian government, Said our government is doing nothing
While Pakistan’s Imran Khan government has been chastised for failing to pay attention to Pakistani students stranded in the war-torn region, a video has gone viral claiming that Pakistani students are using the Indian flag to flee the crisis-stricken Ukraine because the Russians have promised that Indians will not be harmed if they display their national flag on their vehicle.
A guy is seen telling a Pakistani TV anchor in a video widely distributed on Twitter that Pakistani students are being forced to wear the Indian flag to obtain a safe passage out of war-torn Ukraine since their government, led by Imran Khan, has turned a blind eye to them.

He is overheard saying that the Pakistani government has left its students stranded in the war-torn country; in the meantime, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who guaranteed him that Indians would be able to safely exit Ukraine. PM Modi had also spoken to the leaders of the countries surrounding Ukraine, who promised him that Indians would be permitted to enter without difficulty. As a result, the Indian government has recommended Indian students stranded in Ukraine to drive with the national flag flying.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani government is doing very little to ensure the safety of its students who are currently stranded in Ukraine. In reality, the administration of Imran Khan has encouraged stranded students in Ukraine to fly to Ternopil “to facilitate evacuations” as the situation improves. According to Hindustan Special, these desperate Pakistani students had no choice but to rent trucks, plaster Indian flags on them, and raise ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ chants while pretending to be Indian in order to safely reach Ternopil, where they could be evacuated.
Pakistani students stranded in Ukraine’s metro subways were also featured on Hindustan Special.
The worried students can be heard complaining that they have been stranded without food or water for days and that no one from the Pakistan embassy has been to their aid. “The embassy is lying saying they have evacuated all kids,” one of the pupils stated, slamming the Pakistani authorities. But we’re all seated here. Every country is evacuating its citizens, but Pakistan is unconcerned.”
Another Pakistani student, waiting to be evacuated from the war-torn Ukraine, remarked, “Our only error is that we are Pakistanis.”
In a video posted on YouTube on February 27 by the A to Z- 2nd channel, an Indian student explains how they were granted safe passage through three countries as they approached the Hungary border only because they had an Indian flag on their vehicle. “We are proud of the respect and honour the soldiers and army personnel show when they see the Indian flag.” We were let go without being questioned. This shows that India has made a name for itself all around the world. “I am a proud Indian,” the student declared.
