A terrorist attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi, two killed: local media

Information about the attack on Pakistan’s stock exchange is coming out. According to media reports, some gunmen entered the building of the Stock Exchange of Karachi on Monday morning and started firing indiscriminately. According to the police, they fired the attackers while firing back. According to media reports, the terrorists have been shot dead on all four cops.

Police have speculated that the Terrorists had entered the building with the intention of harming the people as they had a large quantity of explosives.

According to Pakistani media, around 9 am, four terrorists, entered the Pakistan Stock Exchange building and opened indiscriminate fire. The terrorists also attacked with grenades at the main gate. It has been reported that the building was also very crowded as it was the first business day of the week. In the encounter with the police, one attacker was killed at the main gate, while three were piled inside the building.

People taken out of the building

Pakistani Rangers and Sindh Police personnel started evacuating people trapped in the building as soon as the incident was reported. Also, the main entrance was closed. People were escorted out the back door of the building. However, some people are still stranded, who are being evacuated.
