Ex-President Donald Trump banned from Fox News Network
For over 100 days, Fox news has not had Donald Trump on its network, which according to the sources was a part of a strategy to eliminate the former President as a major GOP player. April 13 was the last time Trump appeared on Fox News on “Hannity”.
The fact that Trump’s old friend “doesn’t seem to be giving him any attention anymore” has caused him a personal disappointment, according to Trump. The sources claim that Trump thinks Fox’s avoidance of him is an effort to “effectively dispose” of him as the de facto leader of the Republican Party and from the news cycle.
The billionaire chairman of Fox, Rupert Murdoch, and the CEO of the company, Lachlan Murdoch, support the decision to stay away from Trump. They both identify as Republicans, but it is said that they have come to strongly loathe Trump.
The New York Post and The Wall Street Journal, both controlled by Rupert Murdoch, sharply criticized Trump’s actions on January 6 earlier this month while adamantly dismissing a Trump presidential bid in 2024.
The Times reported that Donald Trump’s failure to recognize the results of the 2020 election was the reason behind the Murdochs’ condemnation of the former president; Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate, agreed.
Trump has been transparent about his rediscovered dislike of Fox News.
