Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Arrested in Napa County for DUI charges
According to the Napa County Criminal Justice public booking report, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was detained for driving under the influence.
The arrest happened in Napa County soon before midnight on Saturday night. He was arrested for driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol value of 0.08 per cent or higher hours later.
Paul Pelosi was granted bail of USD 5,000, according to the public booking report, and he was freed on Sunday morning, CNN said.
“The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter that occurred while she was on the East Coast,” Pelosi’s spokesperson Drew Hammill said in a statement.
Nancy Pelosi, a San Francisco native, has been married to Paul Pelosi, 82, since 1963. They have a total of five children together.
