Pervez Musharraf ex Pakistan faces multiple organ failure, family says he cant recover

The condition of former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf is said to be critical. He has been shifted to a ventilator in Dubai today after his health deteriorated. Musharraf has heart and other health problems. A special team of doctors is monitoring Musharraf’s health for 24 hours. It was Pervez Musharraf who started the Kargil war in 1999 by keeping the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the dark. Who is Pervez Musharraf?
General Pervez Musharraf was the army chief of Pakistan during the Kargil war. He is believed to have kept the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the dark regarding Kargil. Musharraf conducted a military coup in 1999 when Nawaz Sharif was in Sri Lanka. He later declared himself the President of Pakistan.

When did Pervez Musharraf conduct a military coup?
There was a military coup in Pakistan on 12 October 1999. In this bloodless revolution, Nawaz was arrested after being accused of hijacking Musharraf’s plane coming from Sri Lanka and spreading terrorism. He was later deported to Saudi Arabia along with 40 family members. Nawaz Sharif won the 1997 general elections and took over as the prime minister. Nawaz Sharif appointed General Pervez Musharraf as Chief of Army Staff.

Musharraf took charge by removing Nawaz Sharif from power

When General Pervez Musharraf was in Sri Lanka, Nawaz Sharif was removed from the post of Chief of Army Staff on the basis of suspicion. Sharif appointed General Aziz as Chief of Army Staff in place of Musharraf. Nawaz made a mistake here and could not understand that General Aziz was also loyal to Pervez Musharraf. After all, the military coup that Sharif had feared had happened.

Musharraf arrested Nawaz and his ministers and put them in jail
General Pervez Musharraf overthrew the Nawaz Sharif government as soon as he returned from Sri Lanka. Not only this, Musharraf arrested Nawaz Sharif and his ministers and put them in jail and declared himself as military ruler. After this Musharraf also declared himself the President. Nawaz was expelled from the country in 2000 after the intervention of the US and Saudi Arabia.
