President Putin briefs PM Modi on status of negotiations between Ukrainian and Russian teams

According to ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the Ukraine issue. Since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, the two presidents have had three conversations.

Both Modi and Putin discussed the situation in Ukraine throughout the 50-minute talk. According to official sources, Putin briefed the prime minister on the status of Russia-Ukraine negotiations.

Prime Minister Modi emphasized the necessity of expediting the safe evacuation of Indian citizens from Sumy. According to the news agency, Putin assured Prime Minister Modi of his full help in their safe escape.
