RLD President Jayant Chaudhry, dissolved all units of the party in Uttar Pradesh

Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) official Jayant Chaudhary dissolved all of his party’s units and frontals in Uttar Pradesh immediately on Monday.

The party announced the decision with its official Twitter handle. In a tweet, the party claimed that all its units in Uttar Pradesh were immediately dissolved on the orders of RLD national president Jayant Chaudhary.

“According to orders issued by RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary, the party districts, districts and districts of Uttar Pradesh were immediately dissolved,” the group said on Twitter.

The RLD contested the polls in alliance with the Samajwadi Party (SP). The party contested in 33 constituencies and won eight seats. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party won 111 seats. In the 2017 election, the RLD had won only one seat.

The party has also constituted a three-member committee to review its performance in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election. The committee will interact with candidates and party workers and then submit its report to Jayant Chaudhary.
