Russia has denied reports of it asking Military aid from China

Several reports have been flourished that the Russian President is asking for military aid from China. However, Russian President Putin himself came on Russian television to inform the same. He said that they are not asking for any military aid from China and are well capable themselves.

Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesman, claimed on Monday that Russia could take complete control of key Ukrainian towns without China’s support or military assistance.

Mr Peskov stated, “Russia has its own autonomous potential to continue the operation.” “As we have stated, everything is on track and will be completed on schedule and in full.”

“No,” Peskov replied when questioned about claims by US officials that Russia has sought China for military weapons and financial aid.

According to Mr Peskov, the Russian military have already encircled some of Ukraine’s largest cities.

“We are communicating directly, privately to Beijing, that there will absolutely be consequences for large-scale sanctions evasion efforts or support to Russia to backfill them,” Mr Sullivan said.

“We will not allow that to go forward and allow there to be a lifeline to Russia from these economic sanctions from any country, anywhere in the world.”

Russia’s denial comes just a day after rumours surfaced that Moscow had requested weaponry and financial assistance from China.

According to reports, the White House is afraid that Beijing could sabotage Western efforts to assist Ukrainian soldiers.

China has also denied that Russia has requested military assistance. Beijing finds the fighting “disconcerting,” according to Liu Pengyu, a spokesperson for China’s embassy in Washington. “We support and encourage all actions that are conducive to a peaceful resolution of the problem,” he added.

In other news, Russia has intensified its assault on Kyiv, the country’s capital, with fighting and artillery fire in the outskirts.

Russian forces struck an aviation plant in Kyiv, causing a major fire, according to Ukrainian police. Two persons killed and seven were injured.
