Texas School Massacre: Will Texas and other states now call for Gun laws to be amended?
In one of the tragic shootings at a school in Texas, at least 21 people were slain, including 19 children. The incident occurred at Robb Elementary School in the Texas town of Uvalde. The gunmen were also slain in the operation, according to Texas Governor Greg Abbott. The incident occurred at about 12:15 a.m. local time. According to PTI, the suspect was equipped with a handgun, an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, and high-capacity magazines. Salvador Ramos, a resident of the region where the school was located, was identified as the shooter by Texas Governor Rick Perry. Pope Francis expressed his “heartbreak” over the Texas school shooting. He prayed for the children and adults who had died in the tragic shooting. He stated that it was past time to end indiscriminate arms trafficking.
