War of words between Congress and BJP over Cambridge Analytica

The Congress was discovered in the act conspiring with Cambridge Analytica and Facebook for utilizing information before decisions and is currently erroneously blaming the BJP for doing likewise, said Union IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Sunday hammering Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi.

Prasad’s announcement came an hour after Gandhi had blamed BJP and RSS for controlling Facebook and Whatsapp in India and utilizing it to “spread phony news and scorn through it and use it to impact the electorate.” Gandhi had additionally shared a report, distributed in wall street journal, in his tweet on the side of his cases.

Responding to this, Prasad stated, “Losers who cannot influence people even in their own party keep cribbing that the entire world is controlled by BJP & RSS. You were caught red-handed in alliance with Cambridge Analytica & Facebook to weaponize data before the elections & now have the gall to question us?”

“The fact is that today access to information and freedom of expression has been democratized. It is no longer controlled by retainers of your family and that is why it hurts. Btw, haven’t yet heard your condemnation of the Bangalore riots. Where did your courage disappear?” Prasad included a resulting tweet.

Prior in 2018, Prasad while tending to the Rajya Sabha in July 2018 had stated, that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will research whether the British organization Cambridge Analytica abused laws to control the appointive procedure during the 2014 general decisions.

For this situation, information from the country’s electorates and Facebook clients was purportedly undermined by London-based political expert Cambridge Analytica.
