According to reports, the former president was suffering from COVID-19 disease and also had a blood clot in his brain. He went for surgery in the army hospital. But later was announced dead by the doctors.
He was at an age of 84 years when he passed away, he also served many ministries during his tenure in the UPA alliance. His son also tweeted the sad news about the demise of his father via tweet.
