Here’s What We Know

A report from The Daily Star, a British tabloid states that Apple has shown interest in buying Manchester United for around 7 billion dollars. However, this report is not true.

The majority share of the club is owned by the Glazer family since 2005 and on Tuesday, the club hinted at selling the club.

The news came out on the same that the club announced that their star player Cristiano Ronaldo would be leaving the club.

Even if this is the case, Apple has no plans to buy the club. However, Apple is giving more importance to sports content recently and is even airing a “Friday Night Baseball ” weekly on Apple TV+ in collaboration with MLB.

Joe Rossignol shared this news about Apple not intending to buy the club on Twitter and The United Stand – Manchester United Fan Channel, retweeted confirming the news. He said For #ManUtd fans landing on my profile today: I’m an Apple reporter, not a sports reporter. Feel free to roast me if you don’t believe me, but I have it on very good authority that Apple is not planning to buy the club. Sorry to ruin the fun!
