Arjun Tendulkar joins Mumbai Indians for Rs 20 lakh

Arjun Tendulkar is all set to play under his father’s mentorship as Mumbai Indians bought him for Rs 20 lakh. His father, Sachin Tendulkar led the team Mumbai Indians in 4 seasons. MI was the only team that bid for Arjun and he joined them at his base price of Rs 20 lakh.

Arjun in the past few seasons has been part of MI’s camp as a net bowler. In 2020, he has also travelled to UAE for IPL 2020.

However, Arjun hasn’t played much of senior cricket but has experience of bowling to international cricketers.

In the 2017 World Cup final, He was one of the net bowlers who bowled to the Indian women’s team. In the same year, he bowled to Indian cricketers at Wankhede Stadium. In the following year, 2018, Arjun was a part of the Men in Blue series in the UK.

To date, Mumbai Indians has won the IPL Trophy 5 times.
