It has been reported that Christian Eriksen has been offered a return to top-flight football by English Premier League side Brentford . The Danish midfielder will sign a six-month contract with the Bees. In addition to cardiac issues and a pacemaker, Eriksen collapsed during the European Championships, and Serie A rules removed him from Inter Milan.

The Danish footballer Christian Eriksen is an attacking midfielder who most recently played for Inter Milan in Serie A and for the Denmark national team. On June 12, he suffered a cardiac arrest during Denmark’s European Championship game against Finland.
Eriksen announced earlier this month his desire to return to professional football, saying he hopes to make Denmark’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar.
Between 2013 and 2020, Eriksen played for Tottenham Hotspur, making over 300 appearances for the north London club.
As a result of Serie A’s medical rules regarding implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), Eriksen was training with Danish club Odense Boldklub when he was unavailable to play for Inter.
