This football club is considered the fourth-most successful club as it won two EUROPEAN cups, two UEFA Cup Winners’ Cups, two UEFA Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, and one FIFA Club World Cup.

In 1905, the club was owned by Gus Mears and after his death, his successor continued to own till 1982.
Ken Bates bought controlling stake of the club in 1996 and linked Chelsea on AIM stock exchange. In the 1990s, the Chelsea club was owned by Matthew Harding and loaned 26 million to build the new North Stand and invest in new players.
Many ups and downs were holded on this football club for years. And in 2012, Chelsea was announced as a global brand and ranked fifth among the football brands.
In 2016, Chelsea was ranked eighth in the Deloitte Football Money League with annual commercial revenue of £322.59 million.
During the Russia-Ukraine war, Roman Abramovich handed over the duties and care of Chelsea FC to the Chelsea Charitable Foundation.
In March 2022, Chelsea FC had 5 offers for overtaking the charges and responsibilities of Chelsea FC, in which Todd Boehly was a part and he later bought Chelsea from Abramovich along with Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjoerg Wyss.
