Chris Jericho announced Cody Rhodes’ forthcoming WWE return
The most recent episode of the “Talk Is Jericho” podcast includes Jericho speaking with “Gimmick Attorney” Michael Dockins, a lawyer who has assisted countless pro wrestlers with trademark filings. Wrestlers’ trademark disputes with WWE were discussed by Jericho and Dockins, and while outlining what Dockins does, Jericho highlighted Cody’s previous trademark difficulties with WWE and ostensibly guaranteed his comeback.
“I’m peeling back the curtain on the wrestling business a little bit,” Jericho remarked. “You’re going to find out how I’ve managed to be Chris Jericho no matter what organisation I work for or where I wrestle.” You’ll learn how Danhausen manages to preserve his identity and gimmick from one promotion to the next. “How Cody got to regain Rhodes from WWE despite the fact that he’s back in WWE…”
As previously stated, Rhodes is rumoured to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38. It was just announced that he inked his WWE contract about two weeks ago and would be part of the RAW roster. Rhodes is also apparently booked for RAW After WrestleMania, but it’s unclear if he’ll make his re-debut there or at WrestleMania.
