Moreover, the Athletic’s Anthony Slater and Marcus Thompson have reported that the defensive stalwart is seeking a max contract extension. He will be eligible to pursue the contract on August 3rd. The length of the contract is four years and will be worth of $140 million approximately.
After the arrival of news all around, NBA fans made it to Twitter to express their thoughts on the precarious matter between Draymond Green and the Warriors. Many of the fans believe Green has warranted a max contract extension because he is the perfect cog for the Warriors.
“Green, according to sources, wants and believes he deserves a maximum contract extension from the Warriors, August 3 is when he is eligible to sign a four-year deal. That is his desired length,” the report said.
While his desire is to remain with the Warriors, Draymond Green is said to be willing to explore outside options to get the contract he wants.
