Former New York Mets prospect Darwyn Encarnación died at such a young age

Former New York Mets prospect Darwyn Encarnación met with a mishappening on 15th June 2022, he died when he was driving his SUV in the Dominican Republic and met with an accident leading to his death at such a young age.

He was just 21 years old and at such a young age he was signed by the Mets in March 2019 and was assigned to the club’s Rookie-level Dominican Summer League affiliate. He appeared in 35 games during the 2019 season.

According to an MLB insider, Hector Gomez Encarnacion was driving his SUV in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday and according to reports, he drove his car off the bridge.

He did not die initially and was rushed to Juan Bosch Hospital, where doctors attempted to save his life but unfortunately can’t.

Local outlet El Nuevo Diario has posted the video on Twitter which went viral in no time. People are expressing their sorrow and are saddened by the fact that he is no more.

In the video, one can see the horrifying condition of the car after an accident.

 

An official from the Mets’ team in the Dominican Republic has given their say on Darwyn recently “He was a great human being, very disciplined, respectful and polite. He played with us for just one year, in 2019. He was even using his scholarship that the team gave him when he signed and was currently studying at university,”

At last, we can only say that young talent with a strong mindset has gone too soon.
