Garcia not warned, but ejected after hitting Josh Donaldson
Garcia entered the game with runners on the corners and one out, with Giancarlo Stanton on the plate looking for a action. HE stung the 2 – 2 pitch into the right field corner and glinged it over the wall to tie the game.
Whether it was intentional or not, Garcia drilled Josh Donaldson in the back, the umpires had to evaluate the things. When the umpires had reevaluate, the player was not just warned but ejected. At that time, all nonsense broke up.
Yimi Garcia ejected for hitting Josh Donaldson in a tie game. Pete Walker also tossed.
