Ian Wright slams Lord Alan Sugar, let’s know why?

Ian Wright responded in brilliant fashion after Lord Alan Sugar ripped into the coverage of the Woman’s Euro 2022. The former Tottenham owner came up with the issue due to lack of male commentators in the tournament. The two men unleashed in a two minute banter on Twitter.

Wright, is a massive advocate of the women’s football, the man has been used in Sugar’s argument after he was outed on BBC’s coverage during England’s 8-0 win over Norway on Monday.

“I was pleased to see my old mate Ian Wright was given the opportunity to commentate on the ladies game last night. I wonder if my earlier tweet below touched a nerve. Of course BBC sport will say not at all, Ian was already lined up for it” said Alan Sugar.

Over the weekend, Sugar had complained about ‘ALL commentators’ on the Women’s Euro coverage being women, and that men’s football typically had a ‘symbolic’ female to ‘cover broadcasters a***’.

However, Wright kept a cool mind and thought throughout, he even joked, “I hope you enjoy the rest of the tournament. Can you please tweet again so I can work Friday (for the next game)? God bless.”

Moreover, Wright is a regular part of the BBC’s coverage of the women’s game.
