India managed to put up 333/5 in their 50 overs. Moreover, this is India’s highest ODI score against England and the second highest score in the history of Women’s ODI.
Harmanpreet’s innings consisted of 18 fours and 4 sixes, she got the special number in 100 balls and added another 43 runs in 11 balls. With this, she brings up her fifth half century in ODI cricket. Also, she is now the first Asian captain to score an ODI ton on English soil.
Furthermore, this is the second century for Harmanpreet, she had earlier smashed a special knock of 109 against West Indies in the World Cup.
Moreover, India’s Harleen Deol also put up a crucial fifty for the side, Deol made a 72 ball 58. Smriti Mandhana also contributed to the start of the innings, she made 40 runs in 51 balls, consisting of 4 fours and a six.
