India’s predicted Playing XI against Afghanistan

Indian Team is not in a good place in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 as they have lost both the matches they played till now in the tournament. India now will face Afghanistan today Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Questions are getting raised on team selection and batting orders, So looking forward to the must-win clash, here the predicted Playing XI for the match.

  • Rohit Sharma: he is predicted to be the opener in the next match. He has scored just 14 runs in the last two matches but maybe giving him opener slot may work.
  • Ishan Kishan: he has not succeeded yet but is likely to open in the next match as he can face Afghanistan’s spinners
  • Virat Kohli: the Captain of team India who is in great pressure because of the successive defeats. He has scored 66 runs in both matches with 1 one half-century.
  • KL Rahul: he has just scored 21 runs in the last two matches, he may come at 4th position expected to knock some good runs.
  • Rishabh Pant: he is the primary wicketkeeper for the team but is yet to showcase his game. He did not-so bad battling and scored 51 runs in two matches but team India is expecting more.
  • Hardik Pandya: he is a batsman as well as a bowler which makes his place crucial in the next match. He has scored 32 runs in two matches, he is expected to make a decent knock in the next match.
  • Ravindra Jadeja: He is another all-rounder of the team but yet to take a wicket in the tournament. In two matches he scored 39 runs but yet to impress his fans.
  • Ravichandran Ashwin: a full time spinner for team India but hasn’t been able to knock a wicket yet. He will make his place in the team for upcoming match.
  • Shardul Thakur: He has not performed well yet and leaked a lot of runs against New Zealand but report says he will be in the team because of his batting skills.
  • Mohammed Shami: Another pacer for team India but not able to take any wicket yet. The fans are waiting for his impressive wicket-taking game.
  • Jasprit Bumrah: he is the only bowler who knocked wickets in the tournament. He took 2 wickets against New Zealand and will act important in the next match.
