Ireland fighting hard against Kiwis
New Zealand are currently on their tour of Ireland, they will be playing 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is. The Blackcaps have already sealed the three match ODIs by winning the first two games, the remaining ODI is still underway.
With a target of 361 for the Irishman, they are sure giving their competitors a run for their money. Ireland batters Paul Sterling and Harry Tector scoring tons, it looks like their innings will help Ireland finish the series on a winning note.
Tector has had an amazing 50 overs series, he got to a hundred in the first game as well with an unbeaten 113. And today another 108 to his name, he has surely risen up in the ICC ODI batsmen rankings. Experience always has a upper hand, Paul Sterling has proved it once again, the opener scored 103 ball 120 consisting off 14 fours and 5 sixes.
With the ODI series coming to an end, the two teams will square off against each other in the shortest format of the game. The first game is scheduled on 18 July, at the Stormont Stadium in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
At the moment, currently, Ireland needs 31 runs of 22 balls with three wickets in hand to prevent a whitewash from the New Zealanders.
