Jethalal is confused after reading my prediction – Wasim Jaffer

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 final, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Dubai on Friday. Wasim Jaffer, a former India batsman, took to Twitter ahead of the top-of-the-table battle between MS Dhoni’s CSK and Eoin Morgan’s KKR to predict who will win. The trophy will be lifted by a World Cup-winning captain and a New Zealand coach, according to Jaffer. It’s worth noting that both sides have a World Cup-winning captain and coach in Brendon McCullum and Stephen Fleming, respectively.

Another tweet from Punjab Kings’ batting coach includes characters from the hit Hindi sitcom ‘Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah.’

“After reading my forecast, Jethalal is perplexed, but who do you believe will win? #CSKvKKR #IPLFinal, #CSKvKKR, #CSKvKKR, #CSKv “Jaffer sent out a tweet.

CSK advanced for the final after defeating Delhi Capitals by four wickets in the first qualifier. MS Dhoni struck the winning runs for his team, advancing them to the IPL final for the ninth time.

KKR had to fight their way to the final after finishing fourth in the points standings following the league stages. In the Eliminator, KKR dealt a knockout blow to Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Morgan-led team then advanced to their third IPL final with a dramatic win against Delhi Capitals in the second Qualifier.

KKR has an undefeated record in the IPL finals, having won the trophy in 2012 and 2014 under Gautam Gambhir’s leadership.
