Now, we can say former NAPOLI star Kalidou Koulibaly has arrived in London to complete his medical ahead of the 34 million pound transfer to the West London club.
After Raheem Sterling, Koulibaly has become the second signing of the Blues this summer, Sterling arrived from Manchester City for 50 million pound at Stamford Bridge.
The Senegal star is set to have his medical today before penning a five year contract, with an option for an extra year and if that happens he will earn 300,000 pounds per week. If all goes well, Koulibaly will complete all the paper work before flying off to the United States and link up with his new team-mates for pre-season.
Although, a decision will be made later whether the Senegalese star meets Thomas Tuchel and the team in Los Angeles or Las Vegas.
Chelsea take on Club America on Saturday at Vegas, the match could be the first for Koulibaly in Chelsea colours. Moreover, the club are also targeting Sevilla’s Jules Kounde and PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe for a reign at Stamford Bridge.
