King Kohli with most runs in ODI, only active cricketer
The most followed Asian on Instagram and arguably the most admired cricketer in the country, Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has set the benchmark to different level altogether. Whether it be Test, ODI, T20I, he has played to the best of his capabilities even with the pressure of leading the team, moreover, the RCB player is the most successful Test captain in history.
Since the end of November 2019, King Kohli has not smashed a ton in international cricket. To that, over the couple of years, due to his inconsistent form, the batter has been in news regularly. If his ODI stats need to be talked about then Virat Kohli has made 12,311 runs in 260 games at an average of 58.07. With 43 centuries to his name in ODI, he is only behind Sachin Tendulkar.
With crucial series and tournaments happening in the next few months, the ex skipper needs to pull up his socks. The England series coming up will be a huge opportunity for Virat Kohli and with the absence of Rohit Sharma in the first Test, Virat needs to be leading from the front as being the senior most in the squad.
As far as the highest run scorers in ODI are concerned, here it is:
