Kyle Walkers in heavy demand, Chelsea also in the race?
“Kyle Walker-Peters is going to be an interesting one. I think £40million sounds about right, from the last time I was checking this out.” said the The Sun journalist Tom Barclay.
Walker-Peters has impressed hugely for the Saints since his shift from Tottenham Hotspurs back in 2020. He has featured an impressive 72 times in the league, quickly becoming one of Hasenhuttl’s most important assets.
However, Spurs are said to be considering a move to bring the defender back to the club. Spurs also have a £30 million buy-back clause which they could look to activate.
Also, Arsenal are another team that could do with a quality full-back who is capable of playing either as a left-back or right-back. Signing Walker-Peters could mean that Arsenal could sign one player to solve two problems.
There is a lot of demand for the 25 year old among the clubs.
Moreover, West London club, Chelsea are considering many options for right-back position, to be discussed after Cucurella, Kyle Walker-Peters, one of the options alongside Denzel Dumfries.
