Logan Paul joins WWE after striking a deal with the sports entertainment giant on social media
After his performance at WrestleMania earlier this year, Logan Paul’s WWE career appears to still have plenty of opportunities to improve. The social media celebrity tweeted a picture of himself with WWE executives Stephanie McMahon and Paul Levesque as he signed a deal.
At WrestleMania, Paul and The Miz defeated Rey and Dominik Mysterio in a tag fight. Following the match, Miz turned on Paul and attacked him, seemingly setting up a future plotline between the two.
Paul recently tweeted photographs of himself working out in preparation for a comeback to the ring, and The Miz later confirmed that Paul would be making a comeback at SummerSlam, which will take place on July 30 in Nashville. Despite his antics after WrestleMania, The Miz said he would reunite with Paul and that they would attempt to win the tag team championship.
But it’s more likely that Miz and Paul will square off in a singles match.
Paul’s WWE contract’s specifics have not yet been made public. He won’t likely be a weekly on-screen star, but he’ll probably be a part-time performer who supports big events by appearing at them and on weekly television.
