Manchester United in talks with the East Bengal’s ownership

Indian football club, East Bengal which is miserably struggling at the moment are in talks with Premier League giant club Manchester United, the Red Devils may end up taking the ownership of one of India’s oldest clubs.

BCCI president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly is facilitating the deal, he told media that facilitations are on right now with the Manchester United and a clearer picture will be out in a week or two.0

“Yes we have spoken to them and others also. It will take  10 – 12 more days to know who will be the entity”. “It takes some time. First, let it reach a stage then we will make a comment. I will speak only after there’s a concrete development,” Ganguly said.

With the off field issues creating an havoc, the Kolkata based club have struggled to keep their ties with the investors intact in recent times that have reflected in poor results.

Bangladesh based Bashundhara were also in talks with East Bengal but there wasn’t any deal initiated.
