Mino Raiola passes away at 54
One of the most famous agents in football, Mino Raiola who has represented players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Erling Haaland, Mario Balotelli etc. died at the age of 54. The Italian media had reported that he died only for his agency. The Italian has faced criticism due to the commissions he earned from his deals, now which are a major part of the game.
Raiola was born in Southern Italy, but when he was a year old his family moved to the Netherlands. He started working in a family pizzeria after which he started his journey to become one of the most powerful agents in football.
He worked as a technical director at Haarlem and afterwards for the Sports Promotion agency, specializing in transferring Dutch players to Italy.
It is said with the transfer of Pogba from Juventus to Manchester United, Raiola earned 27 million euros, which is a world record transfer, he was also the head of Football Forum. On the work front, his players had high regards about him who helped them in their careers and also filled their bank accounts with huge amount of money.
