Mohammed Siraj inn, Siddarth Kaul out
Royal Challengers Bangalore finished up at the fourth place in the league standings, they fixed their spot by defeating Gujarat Titans by 2 runs. However, if it wasn’t for the Mumbai Indians defeating Delhi Capitals, the DC would have been in place of the RCB today.
The match against Gujarat Titans was a pure batting display from RCB, but the bowling was not up to the mark. To strengthen the bowling department, Mohammed Siraj has come back in place of Siddarth Kaul.
Although, Siraj has had a tough time with the ball in the tournament picking up just 8 wickets in 13 games at an economy of almost 10 per over. With his poor form he was dropped in the last match, Siddarth Kaul came in his place. The decision was backfired terribly as Kaul conceded 43 runs in his four overs and went wicket less.
The Eden Gardens pitch also is a benefit to the pacers, with Siraj coming in with the new ball and raw pace, the LSG batters will be having a tough time at the pitch.
