New billionaire on the block in the form of LeBron James
Nine zeroes now in the same breath as the name LeBron James, the American basketball player is now officially a billionaire. The Lakers player had added $121.2 million in 2021 according to Forbes. He now joins Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant in that sort of wealth.
He has made $387 million on the basketball court, but the majority of the income has come from businesses, the SpringHill Entertainment of both LeBron and Maverick Carter is worth $300 million, his stake in the Fenway Sports Group is $90 million and his 10% share of the Blaze Pizza brand has risen up to $30 million.
And to add, he has a lifetime deal with Nike, which is set to hit billions in the upcoming decades.
LeBron James who has been brought up in a lower background after her mother gave birth to him at the age of 16, had spoken about his struggles and desires to one day become a billionaire.
Now, Bron has surely earned a place in the top 10 wealthiest sportsperson and he gotta feel like a King now.
